The Cr-Mo (chrome-molybdenum) steel used in their construction ensures high durability and long service life. Using Cr-V (chrome-vanadium) sockets with impact tools may result in damage to the socket drive by the impact wrench, making it unusable over time.

Original SATRA sockets are designed to be used with a retaining pin and ring to ensure safety during operation.
(The retaining ring and pin can be purchased separately.)
