CO2 Carbon Dioxide Tester. This device allows for quick diagnosis and prompt detection of cylinder head gasket damage. If the cylinder head gasket is damaged, some exhaust gases enter the cooling system. The device operates by measuring the amount of CO2 in the cooling system.

Included:

Container for used fluid;
Container for new fluid;
Trident;
Pump;
Dual bulb;
3 adapters;

How to use it:
  1. Preparation: Let the engine cool down completely. Opening a hot radiator is dangerous.
  2. Fill the Tester: Pour the test fluid (usually blue) into the chambers of the plastic device up to the marked line.
  3. Setup: Remove the radiator or expansion tank cap. Fit the tester onto the opening using one of the included rubber adapters for a tight seal.
  4. Run the Engine: Start the car and let it idle.
  5. Draw Air: Use the rubber bulb to pull air from the cooling system through the test fluid. Do this for about 1–2 minutes.
  6. Check the Color:
    • Remains Blue: No CO2 detected. Your head gasket is likely fine.
    • Turns Yellow (Gasoline) or Green (Diesel): Exhaust gases are present, confirming a leak (e.g., a blown head gasket or cracked cylinder head).
Pro Tip: Be careful not to suck actual coolant into the device, as it will contaminate the blue fluid and ruin the test.
